UIAMS flags off its 2021-23 MBA Batch with Orientation Programme

Chandigarh, September 16, 2021: University Institute of Applied Management Sciences(UIAMS), Panjab University, Chandigarh offering sectoral MBA programmes, organised an Orientation Programme for its MBA students of 2021-23 batch. The occasion was graced by Prof. V.R.Sinha, Dean University Instruction, Panjab University as Chief Guest.
 
Dr Manjushri Sharma, Faculty, UIAMS welcomed the students of the new batch. Prof. Sinha, in his address encouraged and motivated the students to give their best during the two years of MBA studies at UIAMS. He highlighted the importance of discipline, diligence, and moral values in professional and personal life, and congratulated the new joiners for becoming a part of the illustrious Panjab University family.
 
Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, faculty UIAMS, then briefed the students about the institute and the unique curriculum offered by UIAMS. He further apprised the students about the rules and regulations, pedagogy followed at UIAMS, and the facilities available at the campus. Additionally he shared information about student centric processes followed at UIAMS and Panjab University.
 
Dr. Amandeep Singh Marwaha, Training and Placement Officer, shared his vision about the path to success with the students. He informed the students about the major employers at UIAMS over the past years, the placement rules and a tentative placement calendar for the current session. He also encouraged the students to join the co-curricular clubs, specifically the Placement Cell, Entrepreneurship Cell, Alumni Relations Cell (ARC), and Management Club -Magestemo, during the two-year course.
 
Dr. Anupreet Kaur Mavi, Faculty, UIAMS concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
