UGC Approves International Journal of Gandhian Thought- Panorma: Another milestone of KMV Gandhian Studies Centre

Jalandhar, December 23, 2017: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Autonomous and Heritage Institution's Gandhian Studies Centre's journal Panorama: An international Journal of Gandhian thought has been included in the U.G.C list of approved journals. Throwing light on the journal Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi Principal K.M.V.and the Chief Editor Panorama averred that the journal has received appreciation from scholars across the country for the rich content and high standards. Since its inception the Gandhian Studies centre among its various other activities has evolved an active research centre. A number of research projects and surveys have been taken up over the years. Through the various international and national seminars, the centre provides a platform to the scholars to delve on various aspects of Gandhian philosophy. They are also encouraged to get their research work published in various edited volumes published by the centre.
Editor of the journal Dr. Monica Sharma adumbrated that Panorama is dedicated to promote Gandhian Philosophy. Scholars from all streams are invited to contributed their research papers. It is need of the hour that the youth should be well versed with Gandhian philosophy. Panorama is doing a great service in this direction.
