UFlex kicked off a vaccination drive today at its Noida headquarters.

Noida:

UFlex, an Indian multinational in flexible packaging materials & solutions known for its products in flexible packaging kicked off a vaccination drive today at its Noida headquarters.  The drive is set to cover 6000 employees above the age of 18 working in facilities across Noida including shop-floor workers and contract staff. Vaccines will be provided free-of-cost to its employees and for this UFlex has tied up with Kailash Hospital in Noida. The camps will be set up inside the company facility and plants across different locations.

The company plans to complete the vaccination drive by 05.06.2021.

Leading the way to safety and better health, the first vaccine shot was taken by the company’s Chairman & Managing Director Mr Ashok Chaturvedi.

On the initiative, the company’s President for Legal & Corporate Affairs Mr Dinesh Jain said, “Our employees are our real assets and safeguarding them in every possible way is our responsibility. Hence, we are taking proactive steps to organise access to vaccines for them. At a time when there is a shortage of vaccine availability especially in 18-44 age group that forms a large part of our workforce, support with vaccines will give them and their families relief and much needed safety.”

The company has been regularly supporting its workforce since the first wave of pandemic by providing medicines (under doctor advice); procuring hospital admission, ventilators, oxygen concentrator and cylinders for COVID infected employees.

The company has also provided tonnes of oxygen to Noida based hospitals and district administration in the last 45 days (in the second wave). UFlex is shortly installing an oxygen production plant in A-1 Sector 60 in Noida to further its efforts.
