Chandigarh: Uber has successfully completed 5 years of operations in Punjab and become the No.1 platform of choice for both riders and driver-partners in the city. Uber has signed MoU with the Punjab government as a way to further generate livelihood opportunities in the region. To educate users about the benefits of ridesharing and solutions for urban mobility, Uber has also partnered with Chandigarh Traffic Police for various initiatives such as Honk-Free City, Car Free Day and Road Safety Week.
