Two of four boys trapped in cold weather and snow in Dhauladhar range died: Police 

Dharamsala, January 24, 2022: Two of the four friends, who were out on a trek to the sliding zone behind the Rising Star Hill top of the Dhauladhar mountain range died, whereas two of them are under treatment in Zonal Hospital Dharamsala and are out of danger. 
Confirming this, Superintendent of Police Kangra Dr. Khushal Sharma said that the police and rescue teams launched a campaign to rescue the youth trapped in the midst of heavy snowfall. After much effort they were traced, but two of them had died, one on the spot and other succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. 
SP said that the other two have been rushed to the Zonal Hospital Dharamsala for treatment. While the body of one of the dead has been shifted to Dharamsala, the other body will be brought today.
Police further informed that 18-year-old Rohit son of Rajkumar, 17-year-old Satyam son of Sagar, 16-year-old Rohit son of Paramjeet all of Slate Godown village near Dharamsala and Monty Dhiman resident Nurpur had left for Rising Star Hill Top on Saturday. Monty used to work in Ambala. It is being informed that they lost their way amid heavy snowfall. During this, somehow they informed the relatives about it. After this the rescue teams launched an operation to trace them. Rescue teams found them on Sunday amid heavy snowfall. After this, Rohit sons Rajkumar and Satyam son of Sagar were rushed to Dharamsala Hospital, while Rohit son of Paramjeet and Monty Dhiman lost their lives due to extreme cold conditions. The rescue team has brought back one dead body to Dharamsala and the second dead body shall be brought here today.
