Two nabbed with ice, arms and ammunition
Tightening the noose around the anti-social elements, the police has arrested two persons and have recovered 452 gram ICE drug (Crystal Methamphetamine) and three pistols along with nine live cartridges from them in two separate cases.

Ferozepur, January 7, 2026: Tightening the noose around the anti-social elements, the police has arrested two persons and have recovered 452 gram ICE drug (Crystal Methamphetamine) and three pistols along with nine live cartridges from them in two separate cases.
While divulging details, SSP Bhupinder Singh said that following the inputs, a trap was laid by the police near the grain market situated on Ferozepur- Faridkot road during which the accused identified as Tarsem Singh alias Sema (25) resident of Kale Wala Hithar village was nabbed. The SSP said that during the frisking 452 gram ICE drug was recovered from the accused following which he was booked under NDPS Act at Kulgarhi police station.
In other incident, one person identified as Sarvan (20) a resident of city area was nabbed with three pistols (1 Glock, one .32 bore, one country made) and 9 live cartridges. The SSP said that the police are investigating that from where the accused had procured the weapons and where he was going to use them.
The SSP said that the accused Tarsem had already been booked in three NDPS cases at Harike police station in Tarn Taran distrit, Kot Ise Khan police station in Moga and Lakho ke Behram police station in Mamdot block.
