Two-Day National Seminar Concludes at Panjab University

Chandigarh, August 22, 2025: The two-day national seminar on the theme of social inclusion concluded at Centre for the Study of Social Inclusion (CSSI), Panjab University, Chandigarh, today.

The national seminar was organised by CSSI with the support of the ICSSR North Western Regional Centre, Panjab University.

About 200 participants from various universities across the country took part in the seminar and presented their research papers. During the sessions, serious discussions were held on issues related to social inclusion, law, education, and development policies. From the ideas and research papers presented in the seminar, it was expressed with hope that in the future, concrete policy suggestions and guidelines will be obtained in the field of social justice and equal development.

In the concluding session of this seminar, Prof. Virender Negi, Director, Centre for the Study of Social Inclusion, expressed gratitude to all the participants, invited speakers, experts, and the university administration. He said that this seminar has provided a common platform for researchers and policymakers where, through dialogue and deliberation, new ideas have emerged in the direction of equality and justice in society.

In the closing ceremony, Prof. Virender Negi also felicitated all the members of the organising team with certificates and mementos for their dedicated efforts and outstanding contributions. On this occasion, he said that the success of any academic event depends on the hard work of the dedicated organizers and researchers standing behind it.

 

The program was conducted by the research scholars with great skill and dignity. Finally, this national seminar concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Kanchan Chandan to all participants and guests.
