Two corona deaths in two days in Dharamshala Hospital

Dharamshala: A person has been found corona positive after he brought dead last night   in Zonal Hospital Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. According to the information received, this 41-year-old man, a lawyer by profession is a resident of Shahpur area, was in fever for last four days. On Wednesday night, he was brought to Zonal Hospital Dharamshala due to severe difficulty in breathing but had died before reaching the hospital. His sample were taken after the death and report turned out to be Corona positive. It is being told that his travel history was of Shimla. He had a persistent fever after coming back from Shimla.

CMO Kangra Dr. Gurdarshan Gupta said that the  person was brought dead  to the emergency ward of the hospital on Wednesday midnight. On some doubts the samples to test Corona were taken. On receipt of report today this person was confirmed as corona infected.

The CMO said that at present the emergency ward is sealed and sanitized as per the prescribed parameters. The contact history of the person is being investigated. It is said that two days ago he visited the local court and met many people there.
It may be added here that a 48-year-old corona infected woman of Chamba district, also died in the Kovid Care Center of the Zonal Hospital Dharamshala on Wednesday. With these two deaths, the death toll from Corona in the district has increased to five.

It was the 20th death registered in HP due to Corona.
