Priyamvada Kant, who plays Latika in Gharwali Pedwali, shares, "I have always believed that pets choose us as much as we choose them. My journey with my cat, Shahenshah, has been nothing short of magical. He walked into my life at a time when I needed companionship the most. With his royal attitude and gentle affection, Shahenshah truly lives up to his name. Whether it’s curling up beside me after a long shoot or playfully demanding attention, he has this incredible way of making everything feel lighter. Cats are often misunderstood as being aloof, but Shahenshah has shown me how deeply intuitive and loving they can be. He senses my moods, sits quietly when I need peace, and becomes playful when I need cheering up. On this National Pet Day, I celebrate the quiet, comforting presence pets bring into our lives and how they teach us love in its purest form."
Vidisha Srivastava, who essays Anita Bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0, says, "There is something truly special about the bond we share with our pets it goes beyond words. My dog Foxy has been a constant source of happiness and emotional strength for me. From the moment he came into my life, he filled it with energy, warmth, and endless love. Foxy is not just a pet; he’s my companion, my stressbuster, and my little bundle of joy. His playful antics and unconditional affection can instantly brighten even the toughest days. He has this amazing ability to sense how I am feeling and respond with so much love it is like having a best friend who never judges. Through Foxy, I have learned patience, empathy, and the importance of living in the moment. This National Pet Day, I encourage everyone to open their hearts to a pet, whether adopted or rescued, because the love they give is truly life changing."
