Talwandi Sabo, October 23, 2015: Talwandi Sabo Power Plant, Banawali (Group Company of $ 12 billion Vedanta Group) visited Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo for selection of trainee engineers.
Students of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology of ME, EE and ECE streams of Engineering were present in the selection process which comprised of written test and personal interview, out of these 13 students were selected and asked to join immediately.
Mr Sudhir-Head HR and Ms. Kavita HR Executive conducted the test and shortlisted 13 students for the final interview. The final interview was conducted by the industry experts from TSPL.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor GKU congratulated the selected students and stated that more such companies will visit GKU in future that will help students to be placed immediately on completion of their courses.
Managing Director S. Sukhraj Singh Sidhu appreciated the efforts of Training and Placement Department and congratulated Prof. Mehboob Singh Gill, Director Corporate Affairs GKU on the selection of the students.
