Trident Group commits to hire 2500 underprivileged girls in Punjab under GGRY 

Ludhiana: Stepping further towards strengthening its vision of empowering women, Trident Group is collaborating with Punjab government for Ghar Ghar Rojgar Yojana under which they will be hiring 2500 females in a span of 10 months. The target population will be young women of BPL families. 

The project was announced by the Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh at a live press conference on 6th October, 2020 in the presence of Mr. Rahul Gandhi and administrative authorities of Punjab. Addressing the media, the Hon’ble CM stated that Trident Group has always risen to the call of the nation when it comes to serving communities and empowering people and with this initiative, yet again they have proven to be a responsible conglomerate. Trident Group has promised a stipend of Rs. 18,000 per month to the females who will be hired through this program, along with free hostel facility and subsidized food. 

The first batch of 250 females will be joining on 17th October, an extended 6-day recruitment drive is already underway at Trident Sanghera complex Barnala since 10/10/2020 to 15/10/2020 where COVID test is being conducted for all the candidates and complementary food has also been arranged.
