Ludhiana, September 21, 2026: The training of Field Trainers for Phase-II of Population Enumeration commenced today as part of the preparations for the Census exercise. The training is aimed at ensuring that Field Trainers are well acquainted with the prescribed procedures and guidelines for smooth and accurate enumeration.
AC(G) Payal Goyal, PCS, attended the training session and interacted with the Field Trainers. She appreciated their dedicated efforts and commendable work during Phase-I and encouraged them to maintain the same level of commitment and accuracy during Phase-II.
She emphasized that accurate population enumeration is the foundation for the subsequent Census procedures and urged the Field Trainers to ensure that all instructions are properly understood and effectively communicated to the field staff. She also stressed the importance of carrying out the exercise with diligence, accuracy and responsibility.
