Training imparted to State and Central Government Departments for personnel data entry through NEXTGEN DISE portal for Assembly Elections 2027
In preparation for the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly Elections 2027, a training session was organised for representatives of various State and Central Government departments of District Ludhiana regarding the data entry of personnel through the NEXTGEN DISE portal for election duty deployment.

Ludhiana, September 30, 2026: In preparation for the upcoming Punjab Legislative Assembly Elections 2027, a training session was organised for representatives of various State and Central Government departments of District Ludhiana regarding the data entry of personnel through the NEXTGEN DISE portal for election duty deployment.
The NEXTGEN DISE software has been developed by the NIC Punjab State Unit as per the requirements of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Punjab, to facilitate systematic collection, management and deployment of government personnel for election-related duties.
The training was imparted by Neeraj Garg, Joint Director (IT) & District Informatics Officer (DIO), Ludhiana, who provided detailed guidance to the participating departments regarding registration, data entry and submission of personnel details through the portal. The participants were also apprised of the various functionalities of the portal and the importance of ensuring accurate and complete data.
Jashanpreet Kaur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Khanna) and Nodal Officer for Manpower Management, directed all concerned departments to ensure timely and accurate submission of the required personnel data through the NEXTGEN DISE portal, strictly adhering to the timelines prescribed for the purpose.
Rajan Dhall, Election Tehsildar, Ludhiana, was also present during the training session.
The participating departments were advised to ensure that the personnel data furnished through the portal is complete, accurate and updated, so that manpower management and deployment for election duties can be carried out smoothly and efficiently for the forthcoming Assembly Elections 2027.
