Traders want more simplification of GST, builders want price control on cement and steel

Hyderabad: Traders want more simplification of GST filing system. They also want GST officials to deal with traders respectfully. 
 
Traders also want a more proactive approach from Banks. Because of their indifferent attitude, traders are unable to take benefits of Atmanirbhar Yojana. 
 
Builders want price control on cement and steel, travel agents want entry-level license system as a lot of fly by night operators entering the trade and taking customers for a ride.  
 
Traders also sought MSME type organization and help from the Government. They want Bandi Sanjay, President of BJP to represent their problems to both state and central government. They want Income Tax concessions for next three years. 83% of the trader community is facing problems.  
 
Bandi Sanjay, BJP State President assured to arrange a video conference with respective Union Ministers to address and resolve their problems. 
 
Bandi Sanjay found fault with the state government which failed badly in creating a conducive environment to encourage more industries to be set up.
 
The state has 34% unemployed as against national 21%, the BJP State President said. 
 
Bandi Sanjay was the speaker at the virtual interactive session organized by The Telangana State Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Trade (TSFCCT), a professional body for traders in Telangana, to sensitize political community in general and Bandi Sanjay in particularly. 
 
Trader’s community also said when the central government announced Rs 20,000 crore relief package, they didn’t include Traders. They also want some benefits under that package said Prakash Ammanabolu, President of TSFCCT.
 
The virtual session held on Zoom platform was attended by many traders from nook and corners of Telangana. 
 
The objective behind this program, Prakash explains, politicians, political factors impact businesses in many ways. 
 
You may not personally want to be involved in politics but if you want to run a business you have to be aware of how the laws of the land can affect your bottom line. Tax laws, business treaties, tariffs, and commerce, in general, is impacted by politics, he said. 
 
The members of the Federation deal in 29 major trades such as Textiles, Readymade Garments, Hotels, Footwear, Hardware, Electricals, Electronics, Jewelery, Automobile Spare Parts, Mobile Phones, Medial, Vegetables, Kirana, Groceries etc and other. There are 11 lakh traders in Telangana. They are comprised of large, medium and small. These traders have many problems, unresolved for many years. Our idea behind the interaction with Bandi Sanjay is to apprise him of traders problems So that they are better informed,
