Tourists be guided about corona safety at district entry points: Rakesh Prajapati

Dharamshala: After successfully defeating Corona, the Deputy commissioner of Kangra Rakesh Prjapati joined back his duty at Dharamshala, his office after a recovery period of more than three weeks. Prajapati has now fully recovered from Corona. He along with his wife and one- year-old daughter were earlier admitted in Tanda Medical college Hospital after their condition became critical due to Corona Infection.

Prajapati joined back on the advice of the health experts after a week’s isolation in his house after his discharge from hospital.
Prajapati said, “I am 33 years old having no co –morbidity, even then Corona infected me and my condition was critical for three days, and I have to be hospitalised for 12 days. Nobody knows how the virus will infect anybody. Nobody should take it lightly as still no medicine is available for it, only your immunity is the fighting force, which could protect you. We must strictly use masks, hand washing and observe social distancing to avoid this virus.”

He said that generally people between the age group of 20-60 are regularly coming out of their houses and they have to be extra careful, as they can carry back home the virus and the children and old persons residing in the homes could easily get infected with it. He added, “Some mistake must have been committed by me during my work, so that I got infection and because of my mistake my family suffered. I can say with my experience that we should strictly use masks, hand washing and distancing, to be safe “said DC.

He said that as now tourists are free to enter our district we are going to create our advice counters at the entry points of the district where written guidelines shall be distributed to the tourists, and arrangements be made to make availability of masks and sanitizers for them at the entry of our district.

DC said, “we have also made arrangements that the staff of all hotels and guest houses of our district, be medically checked up, regularly and their samples be collected periodically.”

He advised everybody to follow the guidelines issued by different government agencies to keep oneself safe till some vaccine or medicine is developed for this deadly virus.

Rakesh Prajapati, is the Deputy Commissioner of Kangra, the largest district of Himachal Pradesh and has done an excellent job in the Corona crisis this year. For this he has also been awarded by many institutions.
