Ludhiana: The Covid-19 scare has adversely hit blood banks, which are facing a shortage of blood due to non-availability of donors in the city. As curfew restrictions are on for the past two months, blood donors are unable to reach CMC to donate blood.

Doctor turned IPS Akhil Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Headquarters and Security, Ludhiana Commissionerate, with his team visited the Blood Bank at Christian Medical College and Hospital and donated blood.
