The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most action packed T20 cricket league in the world. Batters have the privilege to express themselves and have the license to go all-out at different stages of the game.

While the fans are always excited to follow Live Cricket Score and follow every record related to the tournament, Here is a look at the bowlers who have bowled the most expensive overs in the history of the IPL.

1)    Harshal Patel vs CSK (2021) - 37 runs

Harshal Patel is regarded as one of the best death bowlers for Team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore. But this is one of the spells he would be likely to forget sooner rather than later. This over came in an epic day game between Royal Challenger Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. Jadeja hit the RCB bowler for 37 runs out of the seven deliveries he faced in that over. The former hit five sixes, one four and scored a double on a no-ball.

2)    Prasant Parameswaran vs RCB (2011) - 37 runs

Gayle is known for his six-hitting abilities and it was once again on display against Kochi Tuskers in 2011. Prasant Parameswaran was hit for 37 runs in an over, which is the joint-costliest over along with the Harshal Patel over. The former West Indies opener smacked four sixes and three boundaries with one of the boundaries being off a no-ball. He didn’t let the bowler breathe throughout the over and made sure he remembers this beating for sometime.

3)    Daniel Sams vs Pat Cummins (2022) - 35 runs

This is one of the rarest incidents in cricket where the bowler was sent out for sixes by another bowler. Australian bowler Daniel Sams was hit for 35 runs by Australian Test captain Pat Cummins. This short cameo included four sixes, two fours and a double off the no-ball as Cummins completed his fifty off just 14 balls. Cummins won his team the game from the jaws of defeat.
