Today's youth contributing a lot in nation building-Harcharan Singh Bains

Harcharan Singh Bains, media and national affairs advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, along with others on Thursday during the third day of Panjab University, Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone- B) at Government College for Girls, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, September 25, 2014: Harcharan Singh Bains, media and national affairs advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, has said that today's youth is contributing a lot in nation building of our country. "Its wrong to tag all youth is falling prey to drugs and other social evils. The truth is that the number of such youth is very less as compared to those who are actively contributing in nation building," said Bains. He was addressing the students on the third day of Panjab University, Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone- B) at Government College for Girls, here today.

He said that a large number of youngsters are contributing for the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi';s vision of "Make In India" campaign. He said that today's youth is capable of achieving all feats and all we need to do is channelise their energy into the right direction.

Harcharan Singh Bains said that for those, who have fallen prey to the vicious circle of drugs, the state government is committed to help them in every possible way as youth is our asset.

Ranjit Singh Dhillon, MLA Ludhiana East also addressed the students. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Gurdarshan Singh Bahia, Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab, besides others.
