“Time Paise Se Bhi Bada Hota Hai” – Akshay Kumar Shares a Powerful Life Lesson on Wheel of Fortune

What started as a casual conversation on Wheel of Fortune with contestants Vidhi Bharani, Riwaj Ghimire, and Nilam Rajput quickly turned into a meaningful lesson on respecting money and understanding the value of time.

While interacting with contestant Vidhi, Akshay Kumar recalls an incident where he once saw a man bet ₹7.5 crores and lose it all in minutes. Curious, witnessing this, Akshay asked the man how he felt after such a massive loss. The man calmly replied that it didn’t affect him. Akshay was shocked by the response.

When Vidhi remarked that she would like to be as unaffected as that person, Akshay immediately exclaimed “Paise ki kadar karni chahiye!”

He went on to explain that money, whether it is one rupee, one lakh, or one crore, is extremely important, as it can help educate children and feed people who are in need. He then said, "Main hamesha apne bachchon ko ye zaroor sikhaya hua hai ki paise ki kadar karo.”

Turning to the audience, he asked: what is even more important than money? Since the audience was silent, he continued by saying Time.’ Speaking from experience, he said, “Time paise se bhi bada hota hai.”

In a previous episode of Wheel of Fortune, Bollywood Wives Bhavana Pandey and Neelam Kothari humorously shared how Akshay’s promptness had even kept them awake or caught them off-guard, with Bhavana joking, “Ek hota hai IST aur doosra hota hai AKT, i.e., Akshay Kumar Time.” This moment perfectly reflects how Akshay’s dedication to time is recognised both on and off screen, making his advice on valuing time even more impactful.

Through this moment, the show once again delivered not just entertainment, but a meaningful life lesson.
