Throat swab test of 12187 people conducted under Mission Fateh

Ferozepur: As a part of the ‘Mission Fateh’ program launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the district administration has so far conducted 12187 throat swab tests.

Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Mr. Gurpal Singh Chahal said that to check the Covid-19 pandemic, the Health department was aggressively conducting tests to trace the Covid-19 patients in the district adding that the health temas have so far conducted 12187 Throat Swab Test of the suspected patients in the district.
 
He said that samples of 10827 persons have been found negative whereas reports of around 400 samples were still pending. He said that the Health department was making strenuous efforts to check the pandemic in the district and no stone would be left unturned for this noble cause.

Mr. Chahal said that these tests were being done continuously to check the spread of the Corona Virus in the district. They said that the Health teams were aggressively conducting these tests adding that no stone was being left unturned for making Jalandhar a Corona free district.
 
Pointing out further, Civil Surgeon Ferozepur Dr. Jugal Kishore said that a door to door screening survey was conducted by the health department where joint teams of health workers and Asha workers checking the spread of this virus. He said that so far around 2.75 Lakh persons have been screened by these teams.
