Those making false promises and hollow claims will be defeated in this Loksabha Election: MP Deepender Hooda

Rohtak, April 19, 2024: MP Deepender Hooda met people door-to-door on Friday in Babra Mohalla Market under the Ghar-Ghar Congress, Har Ghar Congress campaign. He met people in the market and enquired about their issues and concerns. Local MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra was also present during this door-to-door campaign.

 

People told him about the problem of drinking water supply in Rohtak city and said dirty water is being supplied to the residents of Rohtak. While many areas are not getting water for months. Not only Babra Mohalla, Jasbir Colony, Srinagar Colony, Sector 3, DLF Colony but the entire Rohtak city is suffering from this problem, he added.

 

Deepender Hooda said priority will be given to basic facilities when the Congress government will come to power. During the tenure of Congress government, the problem of drinking water was completely eliminated by building water tanks all around Rohtak. But the present government has failed in maintaining even the basic facilities in last 10 years,” he said.

 

Rajysabha MP questioned the Amrit Yojna and said “This government has nothing to do with the problems of the common people. The government should tell what was the Amrit Yojana, and where did Rs 300 crore of this scheme disappear and who committed the scam?

 

Deepender said the current BJP MP had left Congress alleging that Deepender got all the work done in Rohtak, but after joining BJP, now they started saying that Deepender did not get any work done in Rohtak. When the present BJP MP was MP from Karnal, he used to repeatedly praise the all-round development done by us. The BJP MP should clarify which of his statements the public should consider as correct.”

 

Earlier, Deepender Hooda received the blessings of Goddess Mata Rani by paying obeisance at the ancient Shri Shitala Mata Temple located at Mata Darwaza Chowk. He said not only Rohtak, but entire Haryana got a lot of development during the 10 years of Congress government. He said after the change of government in 2014, the metro which would have reached Rohtak beyond Bahadurgarh stopped in Bahadurgarh itself, and along with it the development of the area also stopped.

 

The Congress Rajya Sabha MP said there is a lot of anger among the people of Rohtak Lok Sabha constituency over the fact that the current BJP MP never took care of the area. After taking their vote, he neither raised his voice strongly in the interest of Rohtak in the Lok Sabha, nor did he consider it necessary to spend the MP fund received for the development of the area on development works.

 

Deepender said the people of Rohtak have made up their mind for change this time. “Those making false promises and hollow claims will be exposed and will be defeated in this Loksabha Election. The BJP MP has no work to show, while the Congress, despite being in the opposition for 10 years, is asking for votes in the name of its development works,” he added.
