Taking a 20-year leap, COLORS' 'Udaariyaan' has captivated its audience with an enthralling story of love and the stunning performances of its new cast, Alisha Parveen as Alia, Anuraj Chahal as Armaan, and Aditi Bhagat as Aasmaa. Alia is the beloved daughter of Nehmat and Ekam, a rebellious soul who considers Nehmat her greatest adversary. She believes that Nehmat drove her mother away and selfishly took her father, mistaking Harleen for her real mother. Armaan is a 25-year-old high-spirited guy, who holds a special place in Alia’s heart, and believes there’s nothing ‘a jugaad’ can’t fix. On the other hand, Harleen's biological daughter, Aasmaa, is a dreamer raised in Canada but carries a profound love for India in her heart. As fate would have it, the lives of Alia, Armaan, and Aasmaa intertwine in unexpected ways. How will Alia, Armaan, and Aasmaa’s paths cross? What will be their ‘Udaariyaan’?

1.        How will the story proceed after the leap of 20 years in COLORS’ ‘Udaariyaan’?

A.       Viewers have showered COLORS' 'Udaariyaan' with love and its loyal fan base has only grown after two leaps that captured the story of two generations.  Now, with an intriguing storyline and a leap of 20 years, the show features Alia, Nehmat, and Ekam’s daughter, Armaan, who is in love with Alia and Aasmaa, Harleen’s daughter. The show will trace a new chapter where Alia, Armaan, and Aasmaa's lives will intertwine and take unpredictable turns in the pursuit of their dreams.

2.       Tell us something about your character.

A.       Aasmaa, living up to her name, is a dreamer whose aspirations soar high like the sky while remaining firmly rooted in her culture. Being born and raised in Canada, she embraces a modern outlook on life, yet her heart remains deeply connected to her Hindustani roots. Despite growing up in Canada, she yearns for the warmth and love of a traditional Punjabi family. Raised in a dysfunctional family, Aasmaa had to deal with the trauma of being with an emotionally available mother, who appeared more concerned about her academic achievements rather than her overall well-being. Aasmaa epitomizes the essence of following one's dreams while also learning to embrace the underlying truths that define her life. Just like Aasmaa I share a beautiful bond with my father. There are a lot of similarities between her and me.
