The Story Tellers Competition

Jalandhar, May 30, 2022:  KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organised ‘The Story Tellers’- a Creative Writing Competition in English for bringing out the articulacy and creativity of the students. The competition was organised jointly by Department of English & Department of Student Welfare. The competition received an overwhelming response from the students of all the streams (Arts/ Commerce and Sciences) as they participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Students presented their views on diverse topics such as environment, human relations, education & nationalism in their writings. 

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the keenness of the students in the competition and averred that opportunities like these make the students creative and also develop a wide range of skills in the students. She further maintained that KMV collegiate school keeps on organising plethora of meaningful activities which help in shaping the overall personality of the students to ensure their holistic development. 

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet (Dean, Department of Student Welfare and Head, Department of English), Ms. Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School), Anand Prabha (Incharge, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School) and other faculty members for successfully organising the competition. 

During the competition, certificates were also given to all the winners and all the participants. It is important to mention that best stories out of this competition will also be published in 'KMV Expressions Blog'.
