The star cast of the film 'Kali Jotta' visited CT University

Ludhiana February 3, 2023 : A wave of exhilaration ran through the campus as the starcast of upcoming Punjabi film Kali Jotta - Neeru Bajwa and Satinder Sartaaj, Director Vijay Kumar Arora, Producer Santosh Subhash Thite visited CT University for their Movie Promotions. Amidst the cheers and applause, the stars interacted with the students, and Satinder Sartaaj entertained everyone with a singing performance. Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaj and actress Neeru Bajwa's bhangra enthralled the students and faculty of CT University.

The movie is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and feature Neeru Bajwa, Satinder Sartaaj and Wamiqa Gabbi as lead characters. It's a love story depicting a lof very soft and pure hearted girl "Rabia" who is later on tortured by male dominated society.

Talking about the movie and its unique title, Satinder Sartaj said ‘Kali’ and ‘Jotta’ stood for ‘odd’ and ‘even’, but here, as far as I have understood the theme of the film, it’s ‘alone and together’, and that’s the emotion we are talking about.”

Neeru, who is also the co-producer of the movie said, “It took a lot of years to ideate this one. But when this beautiful story came along, I knew no one other than Satinder Sartaaj could do it. It’s always my pleasure to work with such a pure soul.”

On this occasion CT group’s Alumni Jatinder Maan also performed his debut song.
