Rohtak, March 2, 2026: A delegation of the Nursing Association at Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences met Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal and other officials; and expressed gratitude for the promotions of nursing officers.

During the meeting, Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal said that nursing officers are the backbone of our healthcare system and their services are invaluable. We recognize their hard work and dedication, and their promotions are a matter of great joy. 

The Vice Chancellor said that these promotions are a recognition and encouragement of their dedication to duty. He added that the university administration, in collaboration with the Nursing Association, is committed to work for the benefit of the employees. The Vice Chancellor said that our goal is to ensure that nursing officers perform excellent work and provide the best healthcare services to patients.

Nursing Association Chairman Manoj Khatana said that six Assistant Nursing Superintendents were promoted, and one of them retired on February 28, 2026. Association President Vikas Phogat and DNS Honey Prabha said that due to the continuous efforts of the association, for the first time in the history of the PGIMS, a senior nursing officer has retired from the post of Assistant Nursing Superintendent just one day after getting promoted. The association expressed gratitude to the university administration including Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Aggarwal, Director Dr. S.K. Singhal, Medical Superintendent Dr. Kundan Mittal and others.
