The little ones of InnoKids have a lot of fun during 'Monsoon Bonanza'

Little ones frolicked under the theme of 'Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke' in the week long 'Monsoon Bonanza' celebration at Innokids of five schools of  Innocent Hearts  (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road).

Jalandhar, July 28, 2023: Little ones frolicked under the theme of 'Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke' in the week long 'Monsoon Bonanza' celebration at Innokids of five schools of  Innocent Hearts  (Green Model Town, Loharan, Nurpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road and Kapurthala Road).  

On this occasion, many activities were organized for grades Discoverers and Scholars.The students came dressed in colourful traditional attire and rocked the stage dancing to Punjabi folk songs.The girls enthralled everyone by performing Giddha.  Swings adorned with flowers were arranged for the students in the school premises .  The girls were chittering with happiness wearing bangles and henna.

The activity 'Peter Patter Rain Drops' was organized for the little ones of the class Learners and Explorers.  Children were taught to make a paper boat . They  enjoyed a lot by making colorful paper boats and floating them in the water. The little children who came dressed in colorful umbrellas and raincoats enjoyed the rain to the fullest.  

During this, the teachers told the children that always eat boiled or grilled vegetables during the rainy season, wash fruits thoroughly before eating, add mint, basil, ginger etc. to hot beverages like tea and coffee.  Avoid eating outside food, never eat already peeled fruits.

Sharmila Nakra, Deputy Director Cultural Affairs  cautioned the children that the kids must take care of their health in the rainy season. She also mentioned that objective behind these activities is to connect the young generation with the roots of their culture.
