The Flower Fest - Rang Bahar to be organized on March 6 at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak will give a glimpse of the developed India @2047, while it will spread the fragrance of Haryanvi culture. This colorful flower festival will be organized on the lawn of the Faculty Development Centre (FDC) Building.

Rohtak, March 5, 2024: The Flower Fest - Rang Bahar to be organized on March 6 at Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak will give a glimpse of the developed India @2047, while it will spread the fragrance of Haryanvi culture. This colorful flower festival will be organized on the lawn of the Faculty Development Centre (FDC) Building.
 
Haryana Governor and MDU Chancellor Bandaru Dattatreya will inaugurate this colorful flower festival as the chief guest. MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh will preside over the inaugural function. Guests of honour will be SUPVA, Rohtak VC Gajender Chauhan and MPH University, Karnal VC, Dr S.K. Malhotra.
 
Convener and HOD Botany Prof. Vinita Hooda told that there will be competitions on Fresh Flowers, Floral Exhibits, Foliage Plants, Bonsai, Cactus, Rangoli, Photography, Painting, Vegetable Carving, On the Spot Reel Making, Best Nursery Trophy, Best Garden etc.
 
Dean Student Welfare Prof. Randeep Rana said that like last year, the Rang Bahar program will add the fragrance of happiness. Director Youth Welfare Dr. Jagbir Rathi said that nest making and bonsai making workshops will be the main attraction in the Rang Bahar program. Apart from this, Haryanvi traditional music, food stalls, entertaining games and other attractive activities will be an added attraction for the visitors. Director, Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee said that MDU is all set to welcome the dignitaries and other visitors in this fragrant flower fest-Rang Bahar.
