Chandigarh, September 27, 2026: Former Union Minister and Chandigarh MP Manish Tewari today attended a meeting of the BLA at Ganga Devi Dharamshala in Main Bazar, Manimajra, Chandigarh. During the interaction, Tewari engaged with party workers and local representatives, focusing on issues related to the electoral process and strengthening grassroots organisation. He emphasised the importance of collective participation and the role of disciplined organisation in ensuring fair representation.
The meeting served as a platform to exchange ideas, reinforce unity and motivate cadres to work with renewed energy at the ground level. “Such meetings are extremely important for strengthening coordination at the ground level, understanding local issues and ensuring that our organisational efforts remain closely connected with the people and their concerns,” asserted Tewari.
During the meeting, prominent among those present include HS Lucky, Pradeep Gautam Pandit, former Mayor Surinder Singh, Imran Mansoori and Sanjeev Gaba.
Meanwhile, Tewari also presided over a dedication ceremony for CCTV cameras installed with funds from his MPLADS allocation in village Raipur Kalan. Speaking on the occasion, Tewari stressed the need to undertake development works by rising above partisan politics. Prominent among those present were AAP Chandigarh president Vijaypal Singh, Chandigarh Congress president Harmohinder Singh Lucky, Chander Mukhi Sharma, and other colleagues from the Chandigarh Congress and AAP Chandigarh.
