Ludhiana, March 12, 2026: Tesla announces its first pop-up experience in Punjab, marking the brand’s debut in the state. Model Y Premium is being displayed at Pavilion Mall, Ludhiana, from March 6-12, offering customers in Ludhiana an opportunity to experience Tesla up close and test drive for the first time. Model Y Premium, the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023,2024 & 2025,has earned the highest safety rating in NHTSA (U.S.), IIHS (U.S.), Euro NCAP (Europe), ANCAP(Australia and New Zealand) and C-IASA (China), setting new benchmarks in safety, efficiency, performance, and technology, reinforcing Tesla’s commitment to delivering the safest and most advanced vehicles on the road.
Using Supercharging, Model Y Premium can charge up to 267 km of range in just 15 minutes. The seamless “Plug In, Charge and Go” experience enables convenient and stress-free long-distance travel, making electric mobility practical for everyday use. The pop-up in Ludhiana will feature a Tesla Model Y Premium on display, enabling visitors to explore the vehicle through guided walkarounds and immersive product experiences. Model Y Premium will also be available for test drives, in the designated parking area, allowing customers to experience Tesla’s performance firsthand in an interactive environment. The experience aims to bring Tesla closer to customers by offering test drives and a deeper understanding of electric driving and sustainable mobility.
This Ludhiana pop-up is part of Tesla’s continued efforts to expand its presence in India and accelerate the transition to sustainable energy by increasing accessibility, awareness, and education around electric vehicles and charging solutions. To enhance ownership convenience, Tesla Model Y is available in India with a complimentary wall connector making the cost of charging at home as low as ₹1 per km.
