Sandilya, Violinist; Alcy, Dancer and Sanjana Bharadwaj, Singer are the title winners of Telangana Got Talent
Hyderabad, October 2, 2016: Sandilya, Violinist from CVSR College in Hyderabad got first prize; Alcy, Dancer from NIT Warangal originally from Mozambique country bagged second prize and Sanjana Bharadwaj, Singer from Bhavans College, Hyderabad third prize are the title winners of Telangana Got Talent.

The Title winners walked away with cash prizes of Rs 50,000/- first prize, Rs 20,000/- second prize and Rs 10,000/- for third prize. The prizes were given away by Dr. Boora Narsaiah Goud, Member of Parliament from Bhongir.

TEDx Hyderabad Co-Organiser Viivek Verma announced that all the two title winners will be given an opportunity to perform at the 2017 flagship event of the TEDx Hyderabad in city. Besides these, Sylvester Stephen, a budding percussionist will also be given an opportunity to perform at next years TEDx Hyderabad event.

First prize winner Sandilya played Nacheli rojave; Jaya ho…song from Slum Dog Millionaire; Manam movie theme song, Nannaku prematho and other.

Alcy, second prize winner is not only a good dancer, but he also give dance coaching to his friends in his college.

Sanjana Bharadwaj sang mere dholna from Bhool Bhulaiyaa song.

Telangana too got talent. During auditions and finals, the youth have showcased some amazing skills such as floating art, leaf, sand art and dare devil acts. Divya of BVRIT student performed a Hollywood number on Indian Traditional Musical Instrument Veena informed, Charan Lakkaraju, Organiser

The Grand Finale was graced by Dr. B. Narsaiah, MP-Bhongir; Ch. Gopal Reddy, Chairman, CMRTC; Singer Usha, Ramesh Loganathan, Former HYSEA President; Praveena, Choreographers; Telu Vijaya, famous Telangana Singer particularly Bathukamma number, Karthik, producer of Bathukamma film; Rahul of Youtube fame and others.

STUMAGZ, a Digital Magazine Platform(www.stumagz.com) connecting 165 plus colleges across South India online organized a unique Talent Search in the State. Titled Telangana Got Talent, the objective of the search was to showcase hidden talents and in the age groups of 17 to 25 and provide them platform to prove their talent.

The Contest which kicked off on September 10, travelled length and breadth of Telangana, conducted 8 auditions attended by 1000 plus participants.

The shortlisted 75 talented pool vied for the coveted title in a Grand Finale held in city Saturday night at CMRTC Auditorium, Kandla Koya, Medchal, disclosed Sri Charan Lakkaraju, Founder of Stumagz in a press note issued in city today

The Finale was open to one and all. Nearly 1200 gathering witnessed the grand gala show. Some of the performances include Magic, Mimicry, Singing, Dancing and Daredevil acts, Charan added.

Telangana is the home for talent pool of youth. But, unfortunately they lack forums to showcase their talent. Stumagz decided to spot those unsung heroes and give them a chance to prove their mettle in a large gathering.

Some of the highlights of the 8 audition is one student amazed organizers with his floating art in Warangal. Leaf Art and Sand Art were the two other arts performed by some of the students too are highlights of the initial auditions.

Another student performed Hollywood song on traditional Indian Musical Instrument Veena. Our youth don’t lag behind even in daredevil acts. They proved that they are not less than any in the country. If given an opportunity they will be on par with the best in the country.

The contest has the blessings of the KT Rama Rao and the Telangana Government. KT Rama Rao has unveiled the poster and website and appreciated the efforts. The Title winner will walk away with a Cash Prize of Rs 50,000 plus many goodies. Runners up will bag Rs 25,000/- plus other goodies.
