Chandigarh, February 4, 2019: Ms.Tejpreet Kaur, Research Scholar, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, got the best oral presentation award along with a cash prize in the National Space Science Symposium, 2019, organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), held recently at Pune. Ms.Tejpreet Kaur is pursuing her PhD research work under the supervision of Prof. Sandeep Sahijpal in the field of formation and evolution of our Milky Way Galaxy (Akashganga). More than 500 research scholars from across the country presented their work in the various areas of Space Sciences. She got the award in the Astronomy & Astrophysics category.
