Ferozepur, September 2, 2015: Today the team which will participate in the 13th National Inter-District Junior Athletic Meet to represent Ferozepur district was selected today. This information was provided by Manjit Singh, the manager of the district athletic association and Sukhcharan Singh Brar, the secretary of the association. While addressing the media persons Manjit Singh and Sukhcharan Singh Brar told that this team will participate in the this event which will take place from 5th-7th September, 2015 at Viashakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. They said that the names of the team members are Simarjit Singh, Varinderpreet Singh, Navjot Singh, Ishant, Ashwinder Singh, Akashdeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Harjinder Singh and Lovepreet Singh.
Meanwhile Manger Manjit Singh said that the association will also bear the boarding and lodging expanses of these players. “We are expecting good performance from these players in this competition which will surely be a tough one” he added.
