The community of retired teachers can support the university's progress through their academic knowledge and rich experience. MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia expressed these views while interacting with a delegation of the university's retired teachers.

During a formal meeting at the Vice-Chancellor's office, Prof. Milap Punia stated that meaningful dialogue through academic seminars could help foster a conducive academic environment within the university. The retired teachers' community could organize such interactive seminars. Retired teachers can also guide students by discussing various contemporary issues.

On behalf of the delegation, Prof. K.P.S. Mahalwar and Prof. S.S. Verma assured the Vice-Chancellor of the retired community's support for the university administration in MDU's journey of development. Retired professors Amar Verma, Sanju Nanda, Anju Khanna, Tilak Raj, Rajkumar, and Harish Kumar were also present on the occasion.
