Ludhiana/Mansa/Chandigarh, September 27, 2026: BJP National Headquarters In-Charge and MP Tarun Chugh expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of dedicated BJP workers Arshdeep Singh and Vinod Kumar Kali in the tragic road accident that took place during the ‘Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra’ in Mansa.
Arshdeep Singh passed away in the accident, while Vinod Kumar Kali, who was critically injured, succumbed to his injuries today while undergoing treatment at DMC Hospital in Ludhiana. Their untimely demise is a deeply painful loss for the entire BJP family and for all those working towards the goal of a drug-free Punjab.
Tarun Chugh said that Arshdeep Singh and Vinod Kumar Kali had dedicated themselves to the mission of taking Punjab towards a drug-free future. Their sudden departure is an irreparable loss for the party. He said that the entire BJP family stands firmly with the bereaved families in this difficult hour.
Chugh said that the resolve to build a drug-free Punjab is now also a resolve to carry forward the unfinished mission of these two dedicated colleagues. Every BJP worker will continue this fight with full commitment to protect Punjab’s youth from the menace of drugs and work towards making Punjab completely drug-free.
Tarun Chugh prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength and courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
