Talk-a-thon on easiest way to earn pocket money and gain experience in association with Internshala organized

Ferozepur: The Training and Placement Cell of SBS State Technical Campus of organized a talk-a-thon on "Easiest way to earn Pocket Money and Gain Experience". The workshop was conducted in association with Internshala. The aim of this workshop was to create awareness among students about the internships; working of the Internshala and how to use the leisure time in production among college students. The workshop was started by a formal introduction given by Campus TPO Dr. Gazal Preet Arneja. He lauded the efforts of Students Committee of Training and Placement Cell for making hard efforts for arranging such workshops from time to time.

Mr. Manikaran Sardana, Internshala Student Partner of Internshala for SBSSTC was key speaker during this Internship Online Talk. Total 80 students from various Programmes, disciplines and years participated in this virtual workshop. During this online workshop various doubts of students were amicably resolved. Various queries like, how to utilize leisure time in a useful and productive way, what is role played by Internshala in providing internship opportunities for students, what all can be gained by students during his/her internship and how to smartly utilize time during Covid-19 lockdown period while working from home and maintaining social distancing. Mr. Sukhjeevan Singh, who is a student of 3rd year B Tech CSE and already placed in two leading MNCs also shared his valuable experience and spoke on How to stay upbeat during lockdown.

Campus Director T.S. Sidhu appreciated the efforts of Dr. Gazal Preet Arneja TPO, Mr Kamal Khanna ATPO and Mr. Inderjeet
Singh Gill ATPO for successful conduct of this workshop. He specially congratulated Manikaran Sardana, Internshala Student Partner for providing a digital platform to help his peers getting internship opportunities and motivating them to learn new skills during this lockdown period through Internshala Trainings.
