Talent Show –Hunar Ke Badshah held at Doaba College

Jalandhar, October 18, 2022: Doaba College Jalandhar, organised 'Hunar Ke Badshah' (Talent show) on today. The event began with the lighting of the Holy lamp followed by Gayatri Mantra. The Chief Guest of the event, Principal, Dr. Pardeep Bhandari was welcomed with a sapling by Dr. Avinash Chander Bawa -  Dean, ECA, Prof. Sandeep Chahal, Prof. Arvind Nanda and faculty members. The activities began with Ganesh Vandana by Divya.

In his welcome address, Dr. Avinash Chander said that ECA Dept. works actively and prepares students for GNDU Zonal and Inter-Zonal Competitions. It's purpose is to focus on the holistic development of students.

Kanishka presented Rajasthani dance, Indian Mix Dance was performed by Divya and Kashish from BA BED. It was followed by a Poetical Recitation by Kamaljit Singh of BSc Eco Sem I. Rishab of BTHM Sem III presented Gazal. The other activities included Indian Classical Solo by Tejas, a Folk Song  by Taran Badshah, Choreography by the students of BAJMC and MAJMC, Western Solo by Anurag Duggal, Western Group Song and Solo Dance by Pooja of BA BEd.

In his address, Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari  appreciated the audience and inspired them to channellize their energy towards changing the world with their efforts. He also informed about 56 University positions in academics and sports. He conveyed his best wishes to everyone for Diwali.

Everyone relished the Bhangra and the event culminated with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sandeep Chahal followed by the National Anthem. Prof. Priya Chopra and Dr. Shivika Dutta conducted the stage.
