Talent Hunt Competition organised at Home Science College

Chandigarh, September 21, 2022: The Literary Society of Government Home Science college organised Literary Patchwork’22 within the premises of the college. The rationale was to provide a space wherein students can showcase their creativity and hidden potential without any inhibitions. The plethora of activities such as Debate, Elocution, Poem Recitation, Short-story, Essay-writing, Poem-writing and Hand-writing competitions were held to provide a launch pad to the students to excel in the co-curricular activities. From self-composed poems to the fiery debate, students presented their ideas on the diversified topics with full vigour and enthusiasm. Through these activities, students were encouraged to think beyond the conventional parameters. The events got an overwhelming response as more than 180 students participated in different activities.

The Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal, applauded the efforts of the organizing committee, participants as well as volunteers for the successful completion of the event. She further emphasized that participation in such activities help in the holistic development of the students.
