Swami Vivekananda Punjab State Rural Games at Ludhiana on Nov 9-11

Ferozepur, November 1, 2013: The Swami Vivekananda Punjab State Rural Games (Under 16) are being organised at Ludhiana on November 9-11 for which trials for athletics, wrestling, basket-ball, kho kho, hockey, kabaddi, handball, volleyball and boxing games would be held on November 5 at 10 am at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Ferozepur.
Giving this information, Sunil Sharma, District Sports Officer, Ferozepur said, the trials will be taken for 100 m, 200, 400, 1500 and 300 m  athletics, 100 and 400 m hurdles, 4x100 m, 4x100 m relay, long jump, high jump, shot put (4 Kg), discus throw 1 kg., juvenile throw 600 gms events.
The age of players participating in trials should be less than 16 years as on December 31, 2013 and birth should be after January 1,1998.  They must bring along with the date of birth certificate as a token of proof.
