Swachhata Pakhwara 2020

Ludhiana: Under the observance of Swachhata Pakhwara, 2020 programme of Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. of India, students and staff of Ludhiana Group of Colleges celebrated the ‘Pakhwara (fortnight) in a big way by undertaking various cleanliness activities like speeches, poster making and slogan writing about Swachhata, conducting a cleanliness drive in the campus, including hostel, special drive on water conservation and management of solid waste of the campus etc. 

Director of the campus and the respective principals of the constituent colleges besides the students of LGC enthusiastically participated in the event. The students also undertook the oath to devote at least 100 hours per week towards achieving the enshrined objectives besides motivating others to participate in such activities in the future. 

Management of the college Mr. Rajiv Gulati and Vikram Grover appreciated the initiative of the government and also lauded the efforts of the staff and students with emphasis on keeping the campus green & clean on 24X7 basis.
