Swacchhta Pakhwada observed

Jalandhar: NSS Unit of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar celebrated Swacchhta Pakhwada from 1st August to 15th August, 2021. The campaign was launched by the principal of the college Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra by planting a tree. In his message, he said that in the present age, cleanliness and caring environment have become very important. Further he motivated volunteers to play an important role in keeping their surroundings clean. Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh informed that during this campaign Program Officers and about forty volunteers cleaned their streets, mohallas, villages, playgrounds and crematoriums. In addition, the volunteers presented their models on the efficient use of waste water from ROs, kitchen waste management and eco-bricks. In this way, they made people aware to keep their surroundings clean. During this event, Program Officer Prof. Navneet Arora, Prof. Amandeep Kaur and Prof. Priyank Sharda played an important role.
