Suzuki conducts road safety awareness & emergency care training at DAV University
More than 700 students participate with zeal and enthusiasm
Jalandhar, April 3, 2026: DAV University, Jalandhar, in collaboration with Value Life Foundation under the CSR initiative of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized a Road Safety Awareness & Emergency Care Training Program at the University auditorium. The program was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Kumar, who motivated the students to adopt safe driving practices and emphasized the importance of following traffic rules to ensure road safety. Around 700 students from various departments participated in the event and learned about safe driving practices, traffic rules, road safety measures, and traffic symbols and signals. The sessions aimed to instil a sense of responsibility among young riders and pedestrians.
The program featured expert sessions by representatives of Value Life Foundation and Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd- by Rakesh Patel, Program and Vikhyat Singh. Students were also given practical demonstrations of CPR and other life-saving emergency response techniques, enabling them to act effectively during emergencies. Demonstrations on safe braking practices and accident prevention techniques were also conducted. The event was organized under the supervision of Lt. (Dr.) Ahmad Husain, Associate NCC Officer, DAV University, while Sanjana efficiently managed the event. The initiative proved highly beneficial in spreading awareness about road safety and equipping students with essential life-saving skills, reflecting DAV University’s commitment towards social responsibility and student welfare.
