Sushruta Jayanti Celebrated with Specialized Surgical OPD Camp
On the occasion of Sushruta Jayanti, a special Indoor OPD Camp was organized on 15th July by the Department of Shalya Tantra at OPD No. 104. The camp catered to patients suffering from Samanya Shalya Roga, Guda Roga, and Asthi-Sandhi-Marma Roga.

Panchkula, July 15, 2025: On the occasion of Sushruta Jayanti, a special Indoor OPD Camp was organized on 15th July by the Department of Shalya Tantra at OPD No. 104. The camp catered to patients suffering from Samanya Shalya Roga, Guda Roga, and Asthi-Sandhi-Marma Roga.
The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Satish Gandharve (Dean I/c), Prof. Prahalad Raghu, and Dr. Gaurav Gard (DMS), under the guidance and blessings of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma and Dean Prof. Gulab Pamnani.
Special services such as Free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Testing and Free Biothesiometry Testing were provided to patients.
The BMD test helped assess bone health, with expert advice on diet and lifestyle changes to prevent osteoporosis.
The Biothesiometry test detected early signs of nerve damage and neuropathy, with dietary and preventive care guidance offered accordingly.
A total of 125 patients benefited from the free tests, surgical consultations, and personalized health counseling. The camp paid tribute to Acharya Sushruta, the pioneer of surgery, by spreading awareness and providing accessible Ayurvedic surgical care.
