Chandigarh, April 4, 2014:   Suresh Arora, IPS today assumed the charge as Director General of Police of Punjab. Mr. Arora belongs to 1982 batch of Indian Police Service.

Immediately after assuming the charge, Arora held an informal meeting with the senior officers from the various Wings of the State police to review the police preparedness for General elections to Lok Sabha-2014.
