SUPVA VC Dr. Amit Arya launches Admission Portal for UG courses; Focus on 'Quality Admissions' while adopting a transparent process
Dr. Amit Arya, Vice-Chancellor of the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, along with Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and other officials, launched the admission portal for undergraduate (UG) courses at the university on Friday. The registration window for postgraduate (PG) courses is scheduled to open on June 2.
Rohtak, May 15, 2026: Dr. Amit Arya, Vice-Chancellor of the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, along with Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha and other officials, launched the admission portal for undergraduate (UG) courses at the university on Friday. The registration window for postgraduate (PG) courses is scheduled to open on June 2.
During the launch, the university's prospectus for the academic session 2026-27 was also released. While launching the admission portal, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya emphasized that the entire process must be conducted with complete transparency, with a primary focus on ensuring 'quality admissions.' He issued directives to immediately set up a Help Desk within the university campus to ensure that prospective students and their parents do not face any difficulties during the admission process. This time, in addition to mobile numbers, landline numbers will also be made available at the Help Desk, enabling students to obtain information related to admissions. Faculty members and staff from all departments have been assigned duties at the Help Desk.
Present at the launch ceremony, alongside Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, were Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Ajay Kaushik; Faculty Coordinator (FC) for Film & TV, Mahesh TP; FC for Design, Dr. Shelly Khanna; FC for Visual Arts, Vinay Kumar; FC for Architecture, Ajay Bahu Joshi; Director of IT, Dr. Seema; as well as HODs from various other departments and faculty members.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya announced that, starting from this academic session, two new PG courses—Master of Visual Arts in Printmaking and Master of Design in Textile Design—are being introduced. These courses will be conducted under the Faculty of Visual Arts and the Faculty of Design, respectively.
Online admission forms for undergraduate courses can be submitted, along with the registration fee, until June 26. Admit cards for the entrance examinations will be made available on the university website on July 3. The entrance examinations and skill tests are scheduled to be conducted from July 16 to July 18. The results will be declared on the university website and notice board on July 23.
On July 27, the first round of counseling for courses offered under the Faculty of Visual Arts will take place, and students will also be able to deposit their admission fees. On July 28, the first round of counseling for courses offered under the Faculty of Design will be conducted, and selected students will be able to deposit their fees. The first round of counseling for courses under the Faculty of Film and Television will run from July 27 to July 29, during which students will be able to deposit their fees. The new academic session will commence on August 3.
Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha stated that online admission forms for PG courses will be available for submission starting June 2. Online admission forms, accompanied by the registration fee, can be submitted until July 10. The final results will be declared on the university website and notice board on July 17. The first round of counseling will be held on July 24, and selected students will be able to deposit their admission fees. The new academic session will begin on August 3.
