SUPVA Marks 13th Foundation Day with Tribute to Dada Lakhmi Chand
Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) celebrated its 13th Foundation Day on Friday. Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya paid floral tribute to legendary poet Dada Lakhmi Chand at his statue and extended greetings to the university fraternity.

Rohtak, August 14, 2026: Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) celebrated its 13th Foundation Day on Friday. Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya paid floral tribute to legendary poet Dada Lakhmi Chand at his statue and extended greetings to the university fraternity.
Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Ajay Kaushik, faculty members, teachers and staff also paid homage to the celebrated poet.
VC Dr. Arya said SUPVA is fulfilling its founding vision by providing talent with platforms and direction. He noted that students’ short films are gaining international recognition, while SUPVA-trained students are making their mark in the film industry. Architecture students are contributing to modern construction and infrastructure, while designers and visual arts students are earning recognition across the country.
The Vice Chancellor said the university administration is committed to ensuring that every talent emerging from SUPVA achieves distinction in their respective field, and work towards this goal has already begun.
