Rohtak, October 14, 2026: Students and staff at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA) will now have easier access to nutritious dairy products, with the university opening a Vita booth on campus on Wednesday.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Amit Arya inaugurated the booth, aimed at promoting healthy eating habits while making quality dairy products readily available to the university community.
Registrar Dr Gunjan Malik Manocha said the booth would offer milk, curd, lassi, ghee, paneer and other dairy products. She said the campus previously had no such booth or canteen, making the new facility a welcome addition for students, faculty, staff and visitors.
Highlighting the nutritional value of dairy products, she said milk and its derivatives are important sources of calcium, protein and other essential nutrients. The initiative is expected to improve campus convenience while also supporting the dairy sector.
Teaching and non-teaching staff members were present at the inauguration.
