Superdry launches flagship store in Punjab

Ludhiana, August 27 2019: Iconic British fashion and lifestyle brand – Superdry strengthens their footprint in North India with the launch of their second outlet in Ludhiana at MBD Neopolis Mall.
Adding over 30 stores in the last 6 years across prominent states, the brand plans to further penetrate the market with the launch of at least 10 stores by the end of the year.
The contemporary brand creates ‘future classic’ garments inspired by fusing vintage Americana and high-impact Japanese imagery with a British twist. Superdry is characterized by its use of quality fabrics, unique detailing, world leading hand-drawn graphics and tailored fits with diverse styling. Internationally, the label is known for its affordable premium-quality clothing, accessories and footwear.
Commenting on the launch, Manu Sharma, Business Head, Superdry, said, “We are very excited to open our second store in Ludhiana after the colossal success of our first store in Pavillion Mall. The city is a popular, thriving market and we are very happy grow our presence here. We hope to get the same excitement as we see across our stores in India.”
The Luxurious MBD Neopolis Mall is the new destination for a seamless retail and entertainment experience. Located in the Ferozpur Road, Ludhiana, it is soon to be a world class mall in every facet. It has an impressive array of Global and India brands, catering to fashion, lifestyle and daily needs. It is the first mall to truly bring about the concept of “Mixed Use” Development.
As the brand develops the breadth and nature of its product range, it continues to appeal to a much broader, aspirational age group; those who want to feel amazing in what they wear and appreciate style, quality and attention to detail.
Superdry entered India in 2012 under a long-term distribution agreement with Reliance Brands Ltd., a part of the Reliance Industries Group. At present, the brand retails through key spaces at premium malls and shop in shops, operating with over 60 points of sale in India.
