Ludhiana, April 26, 2014: Former Youth Akali Dal (YAD) leader Maninder Pal Singh Johar alias Sunny Goodwill Johar, died under mysterious circumstances at his residence in BRS Nagar here on Saturday.
He was once considered close to Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.
He was brought dead at a private hospital today morning.
He was in news for allegedly assaulting AIG SS Mand and his NRI friend Paramjit Singh Passi at a local restaurant cum- bar following which Sunny Johar was dismissed from the party.
Sunny was also lodged in Ludhiana central jail and was later bailed out.
