Sunil Maudgil Assumes Charge as BJP Ludhiana District President After Paying Obeisance at Religious Places, Listens to 'Mann Ki Baat'
Newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ludhiana District President Sunil Maudgil formally assumed office on Saturday after paying obeisance at various religious places across the city and praying for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the state and the nation.

Ludhiana, July 26, 2026: Newly appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ludhiana District President Sunil Maudgil formally assumed office on Saturday after paying obeisance at various religious places across the city and praying for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the state and the nation.
He began the day by offering prayers at Durga Mata Mandir. Thereafter, he paid obeisance at Gurdwara Kalgidhar Sahib, followed by visits to Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir and Satguru Ravidas Gurdwara in Basti Jodhewal, where he sought blessings.
After visiting the religious places, Sunil Maudgil joined party workers to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popular monthly radio programme, 'Mann Ki Baat'. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Prime Minister's programme serves as an inspiring platform that encourages citizens to adopt a positive outlook, contribute to social causes and actively participate in nation-building.
Maudgil said he would discharge the responsibility entrusted to him by the party with complete honesty, dedication and commitment. He also pledged to work closely with party workers to further strengthen the organisation.
