Students of Innocent Hearts Shine in Prestigious Chess Tournaments

Shreyansh Jain from CJR showcased exceptional skill and strategic brilliance by securing 4th position in the 69th National School Games (Chess) in the Under-14 Boys category. The prestigious tournament was held at Ranchi from 13th January to 16th January 2026, where Shreyansh competed against some of the finest young chess talents from across the country. For his outstanding performance, he was felicitated with a trophy and a cash prize of ₹8,000.
Adding to the pride of the school, Tanvir Kaur Khinda, a student of the Noorpur Campus, clinched the 1st prize in the Under-11 Girls category at the Kangra International Chess Tournament 2026. Her commendable performance earned her a cash prize of ₹2,500, reflecting her dedication, focus, and excellence in the game.
The Chairman of Innocent Hearts, Dr. Anup Bowry, congratulated Shreyansh Jain and Tanvir Kaur Khinda and extended his best wishes for their bright future. Principal Sonali Manocha (CJR), Minakshi Sharma (Noorpur Road), and Chess Coach Chandresh Bakshi also congratulated the achievers and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.
